I'm currently a fourth year grad student in linguistics at UC Berkeley. I'm also part of the STEDT project (Sino-Tibetan Etymological Dictionary and Thesaurus). You can see my academic web page for papers and stuff.

Things I like to do: hiking, biking, taichi, cruising/carving on my skateboard, watching CSI, Heroes, and House, fiddling around with and/or programming on my Mac. If you want to do/practice any of the above with me, just drop me a line.

A while back, sitting in front of the computer all day led to repetitive strain injury, so for better or for worse, I've had to cut down on the computer time. Be very careful with your hands! If your wrists or forearms or whatever feel fatigue or pain, stop whatever you're doing and do something healthy!
