What the hell?
So, everyone seems to have the indecent urge to make their websites
their own little pulpit from which they can give their own explanations
about human rights and world famine and Barnaby Jones. It's their
own webpages so they can write whatever they want, right? Sure!
From what I can tell, it's just like a bunch of brain farts. What
do I mean by that? Well, consider most of the above pages. Generally
speaking, people spend an enourmous 15 minutes on each topic (20 if
they're feeling extra-savvy) and then just abandon the synaptic spew
there like an old fart, never to be ventured by that person again.
This is not to take anything away from their ideas; many of them
are valid and sometimes you stumble onto one that can actually prove
a theorem or two. But, usually they're just filled with the
spontaneities of the day and if you check the little "last modified"
tags, you'll know how up-to-date their words are.
So, here's my little contribution to
the personalized digital one-person formus. Read if you will. I can't
guarantee that they'll be kept up to date or even (gasp) proofread,
but at least they'll be something for you to read as you wait for your
morning coffee to brew.
