it's friday... but that statement doesn't hold the same relief and delight it normally would due to one little fact: i have to work a full day tomorrow. work is taking over my life. i get home at 10 pm on a regular basis now, and the only redeeming factor to lessen the blow is that dinner's on the company. oh, and i'm definitely getting comp time for this pay period (we start accruing comp time after the 16th hour of overtime in a two-week pay period). of course, the question now is... will i get to use this comp time on such a demanding project? only time will tell.

i'm being sucked into major politics and drama at work. can't say too much about it except that a couple of my coworkers and i are in a dilemma... we're privy to a piece of confidential information that would affect another coworker and we're wondering if we should clue him in, or just keep quiet. sigh. well, at least this keeps my mind off my own problems!

i continue to be amazed by this girl. she has such a way with words... her latest entry is no exception. i feel renewed, inspired, oh-so-happy to be alive. exactly what i needed at this point in my dreary week.

i'm way behind on email again. so please be patient until i find some time to craft the thoughtfully written responses you all deserve. :) and thank you to ha le, winnie, bleak, julia, jon, sarin, glenda, scubagal, min jung, and dave for being such sweeties. *hug*
