so tonight is the long-awaited concert by the calling at the 9:30 club in DC. i'm undeniably excited... i've only been listening to their CD nonstop since i got it in january. :) i'm wondering what the crowd will be like tonight... the last time i went to the 9:30 club was for the pete yorn concert back in november with ken, and it seemed like most people there were college-age or older, but i know the calling has some young female fans. in fact, when i saw them at the Z104 concert in december, one of the screaming young female fans threw her bra at the lead singer. unfortunately, it appears she should have practiced her aim because it landed on a security guard's bald head instead of on the stage. teehee.

doors open at 7 so i'm going straight after work since it's more or less on the way home. i brought a cute top to change into and some makeup to touch up with. :D regarding makeup, i'm not going to go for the overdone clubbing look -- just a little bit more eyeshadow and some lipgloss should be sufficient for my purposes.

anyway, i'm really excited! i'm meeting alexis at the metro center stop and then taking the train over to the club. then i get to go into groupie-mode... haha, just kidding... maybe. ;)
