my weekend in LA was fabulous...the weather was absolutely perfect, i spent time with relatives and friends i hadn't seen in a while, and i even got to visit the beach (see above). i miss the ocean so much, and i was absolutely elated that i had the opportunity to stop by santa monica beach and drink in the perfect loveliness of the ocean (thanks for driving me, nicky!). i couldn't help but exclaim "it's so beautiful" and sigh contentedly every 5 seconds. :)
