already march...? wow, where has the time gone? did you know spring's only two weeks away? and my birthday is coming up faster than i would like... i'll be turning 25 this year! it's kind of scary, i think i'll need lots of comforting once the big day draws near. :/ just think, when i fill out those surveys or online profiles, i won't be able to select "18-24" anymore! eek!

i haven't written in a while... i'm happy to report that the makeupalley event went well, and i didn't even do that much damage. :) my favorite purchases of the day? stila lipglaze palette and awake stardom lipgloss duos in #1 and #2. i also got one of the new stila eyeshadow quads in darjeeling floral -- a very pretty combination of lavenders, purples, and a pink.

i was in williamsburg for my church's women's retreat last weekend... i had a wonderful time getting to know the women at my church (i remember when i attended last year's retreat, i barely knew anyone, but i felt much more comfortable this year), and the guest speaker carol ruvolo was great! my small group had just finished studying her book so it was really neat to have her bring it to life for us.

this weekend, i'm off to LA for my friend's wedding. it'll be good to see my family and friends again... not to mention drink in the warm california sun (and indulge in all my favorite foods! hee hee)! :)
