january 27, 2002 i just had a cup of chai tea, made with tazo brand chai tea concentrate mixed with an equal amount of 2% milk. mmm. what a way to start out the morning, especially since i'm feeling a little under the weather. for the past week or so, illness has been looming over my head, yet it hasn't fully hit. sometimes it never hits, and eventually goes away. i guess i'm lucky that i've never become deathly ill, to the point of bedridden-ness or hospitalization. the closest i've come is freshman year of college when i fell victim to a vicious sinus infection and lost my sense of smell, taste, and if that weren't enough, voice... all this a couple of days before a big blind date semi-formal (aansoc SYS for all you stanfordites). lol. anyway, i don't think i've ever gotten the flu, or maybe i have and i just didn't realize it. and i don't even remember the last time i vomited... i have this strong aversion to throwing up, so i won't even if i suspect it might make me feel better. :P
i just splashed some lancome aromatonic energizing fragrance on my wrists, and i do feel a little energized. :D it's a clean, refreshing scent... hmm, it reminds me of origins' spring fever scent. i think i need a vacation... or a longer weekend! too bad it's already sunday and tomorrow's monday! i'm hoping this week will be less busy than last week. at least my metro ride into work is significantly shorter because i started carpooling into DC with a friend. i still have to take the metro from DC to rockville, and the commute isn't any less, but it's nice to get a ride at least part of the way in. :) < current > /archive/ proud member of the rice bowl journals proud member of the asian journalist, a collection of online journals [prev] [home] [random] [list sites] [next] |
