happy new year!

and hello again, after a prolonged absence. gosh, it's been so long, i almost forgot how to navigate the directories to update my journal via ftp. but i think i figured it out... if you can see this, it means i've succeeded. ;)

wow, so i last wrote right before my san diego trip! that was a monumental trip for a number of reasons. and i wrote about going clubbing. it's weird because i never used to go out that often before last fall, but once autumn hit, i started going out almost every weekend without fail, with two other girls. and in friendship news... i made a new friend, but at the same time lost another. i don't like ending friendships, but when someone has made up her mind not to be friends with you, there's not much that can be done. and i've already gotten very close to my new friend. in fact, we're similar in so many ways, people ask if we're sisters... to which our response has been to dub ourselves twins. :) yay! i've always wanted a twin... hehe.

thank you to those of you who wrote to see if i was still alive. :) it meant a lot to me. i'm very busy because i'm in the midst of a relocation right now, but hopefully i'll be back soon. :)
