an excerpt from a webmd article entitled cocoa... the next health drink?:

While steaming, hot mugs of cocoa may not replace sports drinks on the sidelines any time soon, new research may comfort those who like to indulge their chocolate cravings. A diet rich in cocoa and other types of dark chocolate may help keep your blood pressure down and your heart healthy.

Two studies presented today at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Boston suggest that a substance found in cocoa can stimulate the body's processing of nitric oxide -- a compound critical for healthy blood flow and blood pressure -- and promote overall heart health.

yay! :)

speaking of chocolate, i've been od'ing on the dulce de leche m&m's i got over the holidays... funny, i didn't think too much of them when i first tried them, but now i think they're soooo good! the centers are creamy caramel-flavored chocolate. mmm!

tomorrow is the big DC/MD/VA makeupalley event! i'm really excited about it, it's gonna be fun, and julia's going to be there! :) plus i get to hang out with my girls dawn (who's organizing the event) and alexis, which is always a blast. and new makeup is a good mood boost too, hehe. wishing you a wonderful weekend...
