i just bought tickets home to california for my friend kavitha's wedding. well, she already had the wedding in india last month, but she's holding a stateside reception for those of us who couldn't quite make it out to india. i'll be going home just for the weekend, but i got a pretty good deal ($178 RT), and i really want to be at the reception... kavitha and i have been friends since elementary school, can you believe it? :)

it's been COLD in DC lately. i'm leaving work soon, and i'm not looking forward to the subzero temperatures that await me! maybe i'll run to the metro station, hehe... well, that might be an option if i weren't lugging a heavy bag and if i could run more than 5 minutes without keeling over. keke.

sigh. not feeling very chipper today! oh well, tomorrow's a new day, right? :) (hopefully not as cold!)
