happy monday! i had a good weekend, except i think i was a little selfish and monopolized most of a certain someone's time. oops! i'll be more conscientious from now on, i promise! ^_^

saturday i went shopping... that's when i bought that coat with a removable faux fur collar. it's a nice coat, single-breasted, close-fitting, and without the collar it looks totally normal. with the collar, i feel like a diva... suits my occasional drama-queen persona quite well, i must say (*wink* to jon). heh.

i love michelina's® ! if you don't know what i'm talking about, head to your nearest grocer's frozen food aisle and find out for yourself! i've been a loyal patron(ess?) of this fine brand for several years now. they're quite affordable (under $2 a pop -- sometimes you can find them on sale for $1 each) and tasty! they feature a unique divided 'heat-n-mix' feature so that the pasta and sauce heat separately. ingenious, i tell you! :D my favorites are the macaroni and cheese, black beans and rice, four cheese lasagna, and spaghetti marinara. how can you resist a brand that gives suggestions such as the following:

A Nourishing Meal At The Office:
Whether you are the boss or trying to get everything done for the boss, it's not uncommon to have to work through lunch. But skipping lunch altogether or grabbing a candy bar is not a good solution. Instead, if your office has a refrigerator and a microwave for employee lunches, bring Michelina's® entrées to work. At noon you'll have an easy and convenient meal waiting for you. It will be just the right amount of food to get you through the afternoon.

The Menu:

  • One of my Michelina's® frozen entrées - LEAN 'n TASTY™ if you are watching your intake of grams of fat
  • Your favorite lunchtime beverage - water, soda, coffee
  • A sweet, juicy orange or apple
  • If you are still hungry, a granola bar or, OK, maybe a piece of candy to satisfy your sweet tooth.
haha, i love that: "a granola bar or, OK, maybe a piece of candy"!!! hahaha. that's great!

i'm getting an major winter-cleaning urge... i need to clean my bathroom, my drawers, my makeup collection, and my bedroom (i need to vacuum)... also, i think i should do some laundry. why is it that although i have so many clothes, i feel like my wardrobe is so limited? *sigh*

i am starting to feel the christmas shopping pressure. the stress is exacerbated due to the fact that whenever i try to buy gifts, i end up buying things for myself... ack! tammy says she suffers from the same syndrome... is it a girl thing??
