the girl next to me keeps coughing and sniffling... argh! i don't want to get sick. i guess i'm kind of paranoid and germophobic, but i really don't want to catch anything. oh no, the guy two computers to my right is coughing and wheezing! yikes! AND the girl two to my left is confirmed cold-ridden. eek! c'mon immune system! don't let me down!

i woke up early yesterday morning, maybe because i took a nap yesterday AND went to bed around 11 pm. i've been getting good amounts of sleep lately, maybe because my aforementioned immune system is working overtime trying to ward off illness! anyway, i had time to eat cereal AND strawberries. yum! and take a shower and blow dry my hair. usually i'll only have time to comb through my wet hair before grabbing my lunch and rushing out the door... so it'll inevitably (and annoyingly!) flip at the ends as it dries.

i got my neobeauty order yesterday -- i was surprised because it took a mere two days! i ordered the cyber 21 UV twincake, and the unique 1-minute hair repair treatment. they threw in a few freebies -- a skincare sample set, plus a little packet of foam eyeshadow applicators, some cotton swabs, and a heart-shaped cosmetic sponge. let me reiterate how much i love free stuff! anyway, i really like the cyber 21 twincake (a powder foundation) -- it goes on very smoothly and imparts a natural, flawless glow. it's very yellow so it neutralizes any pinkness in my skin, and it's spf 25! yay! highly recommended for asian or yellow-based skintones.

i stopped by trader joe's last night, to pick up another box of tofutti cuties and assorted other goods. despite my frequent mention of these delightful mini "ice cream" sandwiches, this is only my second box. i really like trader joe's. it can't replace a regular full-service grocery (especially for fresh produce and meat), but i really enjoy the unique and high-quality food products it stocks.

i'm still at work. it's 6:45pm, and i'm not sure how much longer i'll be here (actually -- i'm hearing rumors that we might stay til batch is run -- that means another 3 or 4 hours! it is currently 8pm. eek!). i'm doing regression testing again -- remember how all the testers had to sign up for 4 weekends, two of which were for-sure and two of which were tentative? well, the good news is that instead of being on the weekends, they've been on wednesdays and thursdays. the bad news is that both of the tentative weekends turned out to be for-sure... so that means i'm doing 4 consecutive weeks of regression testing. but this way i get them all out of the way :). which is good since i want to do some traveling in the next few months. i'm definitely going up to nyc (maybe with julia!) in a couple of weeks, and i'm trying to get out to LA for my friend's wedding in september. plus i want to get out to the bay area sometime in september, and october, and november, and... hehe.... we'll see how it turns out, though.
