i nearly blew away this morning... not because i'm feather-light, but because it was terribly windy at the white flint metro stop, where i was waiting for the shuttle bus to my office building. it was warm though, probably 65 degrees, so i wasn't too cold even though the wind whistled through the holes in my chunky-knit sweater like water through a sieve (hehe). however, since i was battling gale-force winds, my hair kept blowing onto my lips (and magically sticking there thanks to the glue that graced my lips... glue aka lipgloss) even though it was pulled back into a ponytail.

guess what? i heard that they're bringing back strawberry shortcake next year! not the food... the cartoon! or maybe just the merchandise? anyway, i used to watch the cartoon (along with rainbow brite and my little pony, lol!), eat the cereal, and i was the proud owner of the sweet-scented doll and the little pink car that played a short melody when you pressed the steering wheel. i think i still have that car in my house back in LA... and i can still hum the melody it played. hehe. anyway, i'm kind of excited about this! i hope they re-release the cereal too! :D
