CAROLINE'S TRADING GUIDELINES
- As I said on my cd-list, I only care for pure digital sources. That
means no MP-3s, and no analog generations if a digital source is available.
- Because I only care for digital sources, I also care about the source
information. Please offer me shows that have their complete
lineages. If you don't care to keep track of that kind of
information all hope is not lost - I'm pretty good about
offering b&ps to people who ask nicely (see note below).
- I am conscientious about good DAE and DAO burning. I expect the
people I trade with to be the same.
- I do not burn Memorex or generic discs. I do not want these brands
from the people I trade with either.
- I do not care how cds are mailed to me, just as long as they are not
loose in the envelope. I generally send discs in sleeves, though I
will also use cases if no sleeves are available.
- I DO care about the envelope that the discs are sent in--bubble
mailers only, please.
- I am a quick and reliable trader. If I say that I will get discs out
to you by a certain day, I will email you if something prevents that
from happening. I do not appreciate traders who do not exercise the
same courtesy towards me.
- Turn around times should be as short as possible. If you need more
than a week to complete a trade with me please do not propose the
trade until you have more time.
- If I have offered you a b&p please send your unwrapped blanks to
me in a self-addressed, priority-mail-stamped bubble mailer with a little
note to remind me what show you want. It is especially critical that
you do not forget the little note.
Obviously this mailer should
go inside a larger envelope when you send it to me. Do not send me
extra discs, I am a not-for-profit burner.
Important Note about B&P Requests
I regularly post massive b&p offers for recent
Steve Kimock-related shows
on the Kimock list. Because
of the high volume of these offers, I may take a very long time to fulfill individual
requests for other shows on my list. Please do not request a b&p from me if you would
mind waiting up to two months to get the show back.
