28 Feb Qualifying interviews end. Row RCC applications passed on to student management teams. Each house's staff will make arrangements to interview applicants.
16 Mar Last day to accept offers with a House.
30 Mar 1 pm Official Row RCC offers from ResComp made online
31 Mar 5 pm Deadline to accept official Row RCC offers from ResComp
12-13 Apr 2-5 pm Newly hired RCCs (including all returning RCCs) must come to the Rescomp office to sign job contracts and fill out hiring paperwork.
14 May 2004-2005 RCC Reception with Residential Computing
15 May 12-2pm Row Manager Spring Training with the Row Office
11 Sep Row RCCs must return to campus for training
12-16 Sep Undergraduate RCC training

Application Requirements

The following application requirements must be completed by 5PM Thursday, February 17, 2005.

  1. Attend information session - Every applicant must attend one information session to be considered for the RCC position. Row RCC Applicants Only sessions are 2/8 4PM, 2/10 5PM, and 2/16 5PM. All sessions will be held in the Grove Lasuen Lounge.
  2. General manager application materials - You must fill out the General manager application and submit it online via SunAppSys (http://selection.stanford.edu). In addition, you must bring copies of the application and resume/work history to the Row Office for each House to which you are applying. (If you are applying to 5 houses, you must bring 5 copies of your application materials). Supplemental questions may also be required depending on the House.
  3. Row RCC application - completed and submitted online via SunAppSys (http://selection.stanford.edu).
  4. Grade Report - an unofficial paper copy from Axess submitted to the ResComp Office.
  5. Qualifying interview sign-up - You must sign up for a qualifying interview with Residential Computing via SunAppSys (http://selection.stanford.edu). You must first submit your RCC application first before you are able to sign up for a qualifying interview.
  6. Letters of Recommendation (for new applicants)
    • If your recommender has a valid SUNet ID - You must first approve this person to submit a recommendation for you. Please see the FAQ Step 12 under "How to apply online."
    • If your recommender is not affiliated with Stanford University, you must download the Recommendation Form from SunAppSys (http://selection.stanford.edu). Your recommender must submit the recommendation to the Rescomp Office directly. See Step 12 of the FAQ under "How to apply online" for more details.
  7. Reference (for returning RCC applicants) - You must specify a reference in the Row RCC application.
