Important Dates for 2005:
08 Apr 12 am Applications available online at http://selection.stanford.edu
Qualifying interview sign-ups available online at http://selection.stanford.edu
15 Apr 2 pm Graduate RCC applications due online by 2 pm. Recommendations not done online must also be turned in to the Residential Computing Office by this time.
Qualifying interview sign-ups end
25 Apr Qualifying interviews begin
28 Apr Qualifying interviews end
28 Apr 6:30 pm All RCC applicants must submit housing preferences online via SunAppSys
29 Apr 8 am Applicants notified of their offers online
4 pm Deadline to accept RCC offers.
29 Apr 2pm-5pm Newly hired RCCs (including all returning RCCs) must come to the Rescomp office between 2pm and 5pm to turn in completed hiring forms, to provide proof of work eligibility, and sign housing forms for housing lottery exemption.
14 May 12 pm 2005-2006 Reception with Residential Computing
24 Aug Graduate RCCs must return to campus for training and be physically available to residents through the start of the quarter.
25-26 Aug 9-5 pm Graduate RCC training
29 Aug Law students arrive, and so it begins.

Application Requirements

The following application requirements must be completed by 2 PM Friday, April 15, 2005.

  1. Graduate RCC application - completed and submitted online via SunAppSys (http://selection.stanford.edu).
  2. Letters of Recommendation (for new applicants)
    • If your recommender has a valid SUNet ID - You must first approve this person to submit a recommendation for you. Please see the FAQ Step 12 under "How to apply online."
    • If your recommender is not affiliated with Stanford University, you must download the Recommendation Form from SunAppSys (http://selection.stanford.edu). Your recommender must submit the recommendation to the Rescomp Office directly. See Step 12 of the FAQ under "How to apply online" for more details.
  3. Reference (for returning RCC applicants) - You must specify a reference in the RCC application.
